Multiple Grammy winner and fashion icon Pharrell Williams recently purchased a home in Laurel Canyon for $7.14 million. According to a report from la.curbed.com, the home, designed by Belzberg Architects, was once owned by the principal architect of the company, Hagy Belzburg.
The newly purchased house, called the Skyline Residence, is not just an ordinary celebrity villa. Located by the hills, the property features six bedrooms with glass walls and sliding doors that look out to spectacular views. There's also an adjoining two-storey guest house with its own kitchen, bedroom and bathroom on the property. Other amenities include a motor court, an infinity pool and an outdoor deck atop the garage, which is perfect for stargazing or outdoor movie nights.
Though it features a "futuristic appearance," Williams' new stylish home is said to be eco-friendly as it not only makes the most of the natural environment and views but also uses solar energy, since it's ideally located on top of the hills.
The property was listed in July for $9 million, but the singer of "Happy" got it for only $7.14 million. According to a report from dailymail.co.uk, the listing's description read, "Skyline Residence is a rare example of world class architecture representing one of the most important pieces of contemporary architecture built in LA in the last decade."
Williams enjoys a successful career as a recording artist, producer, and even fashion designer. He has won various awards, including a Grammy for Producer of the Year, Best Pop Vocal Album and Best Rap Song for his hit "Money Maker." According to celebritynetworth.com, Pharrell Williams' net worth is $80 million.
