Eight Recommended Films to Watch in June

June might be known as the wedding month, but GH Headlines has another thing on their mind. The online movie review authority has recently released a list of must-see movies for June. From family-oriented flicks to action movies and even drama, it's definitely a good month for cinephiles. Here are some of GH Headlines' recommendations.

One good choice would be Love and Mercy, a deeply satisfying biopic, as the website called it. The movie tells the story of Brian Wilson, a member of the legendary group The Beach Boys. It depicts Wilson's early career and his descent into depression. The movie is directed by Bill Pohland who is known for 12 Years A Slave and Brokeback Mountain.

French director Mia Hansen-Love's Eden will feature real life musicians such as Daft Punk, to name a few. The film centers on Paul Vallee (Felix de Givry), a young aspiring writer who is passionate about house music that ultimately led him to become a DJ and a promoter. Eden is set to be released on June 19 in the United States.

Pixar's much awaited animation, Inside Out, will give its viewers an inside look to an 11-year-old girl's mind with her five guiding sprites: Sadness, Joy, Anger, Fear, and Disgust. Set to take over the theatres nationwide on June 19th, it will be another fun-filled experience for both the young and young-at-heart.

Mangelhorn will showcase Hollywood's legend Al Pacino who will play the lead role, AJ Mangelhorn, a reclusive locksmith in Texas who spends the rest of his days caring for his cat and spilling over a lost love. The film is directed by Pineapple Express director David Gordon Green and will also star Holly Hunter, who will play Dawn, a bank teller who interests the eccentric loner.

BBC also released its own list of must-see flicks this June which included a remake of the 90's hit, Jurassic Park. The upcoming film, Jurassic World, is loosely based on the 1990s film and Michael Crichton's novel. The setting takes place 20 years after the first movie. Although not under Spielberg's direction, Jurassic World is predicted to rake millions on its first day.

Comedy flick, Spy, which stars Melissa McCarthy as an unassuming start-up CIA agent is another to watch-out-for. Also on the list are Hungry Hearts and HBO's Entourage.
