Author E.L. James Will Release New 'Fifty Shades of Grey' Novel with Christian Grey's Point of View

Just when the titillating buzz of 'Fifty Shades' is about to wane, author E.L. James announces a follow-up to her erotic novel that promises to tickle pink many people once again.

The new "Fifty Shades" book will be titled "Grey: Fifty Shades of Grey as Told by Christian". Whereas the original trilogy is told from the point of view of Anastasia, the young woman who erratically yields to Grey's perverted fantasies in spite of her resistance, the new book will be conversely written from the perspective of Christian Grey.

The upcoming Fifty Shades book explores Grey's feelings and the inside thoughts - how Anastasia enthralled him; how he was charmed by her gentleness; as well as how he felt inside her when he committed his sadistic sexual acts, among other things. Indeed, there are two sides to every story. The book promises to balance the previous Fifty Shades, which essentially brandishes Grey as a covert sexual pervert. What people often misses is that Grey felt empty and bare until Anastasia came along. He was a very private person, yet, he took the risk of baring himself to her.

According to EL James Blog, the new novel, Grey, will be published on June 18, 2015 which is barely a month from the author's announcement. The date was specifically chosen because it is the birthday of the novel's male protagonist.

The Telegraph mentioned that '50 Shades of Grey' became the best-selling book of all time in the UK in 2012 surpassing Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. And as clamoured by avid fans around the world, a film adaptation was released early this year.

While both the book and film had their fair share of critiques from downbeat audience, it is high time for E.L. James to release the new novel to nosh the cravings of those wanting. As the author writes in the opening of the upcoming novel, she dedicates this book to her avid readers and the fans of Fifty shades "who asked...and asked... and asked... and asked for this".
