'Call of Duty Advanced Warfare' DLC Update: Bruce Campbell to Feature as Captain Lennox

A new chapter of the game "Call of Duty," with the undead forming part of the storyline, comes to life with Bruce Campbell playing Captain Lennox. In this series, Captain Lennox would be part of the "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare" Supremacy DLC pack available from Activision.

A report from PCGamer.com states that the pack would include four new multiplayer maps plus new weapons, traps and Captain Lennox, the new character. In this series, the Captain, voiced by the venerable Bruce Campbell, would be joinng the Exo Zombies cast as they fight off infected hordes. The fight would occur on an aircraft carrier.

Apparently, the title's gameplay is already causing a major stir in the gaming world. According to a report from shacknews.com, questions have arisen merely from the trailer itself. These include concerns on survival as well as the need to determine the cause of the infection and figuring out whose side everybody is on.

The game is reportedly already good by itself but has even become better because of the addition of Campbell. A review on reviewjournal.com states that Campbell is "the coolest side character in contemporary Hollywood." His works include the original "Evil Dead" movies and the television series "Burn Notice."

This isn't the first time Campbell had rendered his voice in a video game. He has lent his talents to such game titles as "The Amazing Spider-Man," "Pitfall 3D: Beyond the Jungle" and the "Evil Dead: Hail to the King," according to a report from gamerant.com.

Campbell is the latest actor who gave permission for his likenesses and voice to become part of the "Exo Zombies" series. Other personalities include Rose McGowan, John Malkovich, John Bernthal and Bill Paxton.

The "Call of Duty Advanced Warfare" pack will be available on the Xbox 360 and Xbox One today. The game for other platforms such as the PC, PS3 and PS4 will reportedly be available by July.
