NFL Hall of Famer Troy Aikman was able to score a touchdown in the sale of his Dallas mansion. According to a report from zillow.com, he was able to sell the property at $5.95 million. The listing agent for the property was Allie Beth Allman of Allie Beth Allman and Associates.
The mansion measures 10,728 square feet and is located in the posh area known as Highland Park. It has four bedrooms and six baths and features amenities such as an elevator and an outdoor entertainment area with a wet bar. A report from latimes.com, described the house as follows: "The French Normandy-style residence, built in 2007 by Tatum-Brown Custom Homes, sits back from the street on about a third of an acre. Accessed through a portico, the updated floor plan includes an updated chef's kitchen, a formal living room, a dining room, an office/study, four bedrooms, four fireplaces and six bathrooms in about 10,700 square feet."
The report added that the house features beamed ceilings, French doors and hardwood floors. There is also a masters bedroom with a sitting area, customized his and hers closets and a bathroom with free standing tub.
As for the outdoors, there is a patio with a large kitchen and a fireplace. There is also a swimming pool with a nearby waterfall feature and a spa.
According to a report from housingwire.com, the California-born quarterback had purchased two homes last year for $4.6 million and $4.3 million, respectively. This is reportedly why he sold the Dallas property.
