Leaked Documents Revealed 'Dark Souls 3' In-Depth Game Details

An online show claimed that they obtained screenshots and details for Software's next game offering, Dark Souls 3. According to IGN, the game will support 1 to 4 players but it was not said if it's a co-op or player vs player. The show also confirmed, based on the leaked documents, that a character will be built at the start of the game and the player will have the option to choose from 10 different character classes.

Rooster Teeth claimed that the game will feature 45 new enemies and 15 new bosses on top of the enemies and bosses that appeared on the previous Dark Souls games. It would be a tough hill climb for players to finish these enemies and bosses with just having the old weapons and armors, which is why the game also features 100 new weapons and 40 new armors, of course on top of the previous ones.

Also, the game will feature 60 minutes of in-engine cut scenes, which is far longer and higher than the previous games.

To add, online games review website, Rockpapershotgun also confirmed that the game will feature 12 different massive areas. The game also altered the way players interact with each other. On the previous game, players interact through soapstones and signs. However, in Dark Souls 3, players will have to drag bodies, perform a ritual, and participate in a sacrifice ceremony in order to visit another player's game.

Another big reveal on the leaked documents would be the boss battles. The game features a heat-up factor that changes the way players approach an encounter. The documents gave away how this one works by revealing that an enemy might come up to the player as a standard-looking knight or a nightmarish creature.

On a final note, the documents also said that Dark Souls 3 will be officially revealed at the E3 2015.

The game will be available on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, the PC version is still under consideration.
