On a separate news about the boxer, Daily Mail reported that Spike TV has recently honored the undefeated boxer by giving him The Best Ever award. To top it all, the trophy was awarded by a legendary actor who happened to play a boxer in Raging Bull. The outspoken boxer received the award looking humbled and even thanked the people behind his success. The event was graced by other artists like Jake Gyllenhaal, Chris Pratt, and Johnny Knoxville in Culver City, California.
Mayweather won through a unanimous decision over arch-nemesis, Manny Pacquiao, in a match dubbed as the Fight of the Century. The fight took 5 years to materialize and has so far broken all the boxing records, monetary wise.
Mayweather is also inching closer to reaching the all-time record of Win-Lose boxing record of 39-0 by the legendary boxing, Rocky Marciano. Mayweather currently holds the 48-0 W-L record. After the Pacquiao fight, he said that he is close to retiring and September might be his last fight.
There were a bunch of fighters on the list but the two closest were Amir Khan and a possible rematch with the current Middleweight king, Miguel Cotto.
