Over the weekend, Hollywood was surprised with the news of two young celebrity deaths: Victoria Siegel of "Queen of Versailes" and former "The Voice" contestant, Anthony Riley.
According to the reports from Orlando Sentinel, Victoria Siegel, the 18-year-old daughter of "Queen of Versailles" stars David and Jackie Siegel, was found lifeless in their Windermere home on Saturday, June 6. According to the Orange County sheriff's spokesman Jeff Williamson, the teenager was found unresponsive at the family's "Seagull Island" mansion on Green Island Cove just after 2 p.m. She was then brought to Health Central Hospital in Ocoee, where she was pronounced dead.
As of writing, the medical examiner is still determining the cause of death. Williamson said that David Siegel informed the investigators that he will be releasing a statement in the coming days but would not give any comments as of the moment. The family is best known for their 2012 documentary, "Queen of Versailles," which followed the family as they built a 90,000-square-foot mansion that they called Versailles House on Kirkstone Lane near Windermere.
Another surprising news was the death of former "The Voice" contestant Anthony Riley. According to Philly.com, investigators suspected the death of the 28-year-old as suicide. He was found on Friday, June 5, in the basement of the Center City apartment where he was staying.
The street performer left "The Voice" last January to deal with his substance abuse issues. Since leaving the show, he has been working on an album but it was also reported that some off his family and friends said that he was still struggling then with his addiction.
Riley was a fan favorite on "The Voice" with his coach Pharell Williams. He told the producers that he was struggling with substance abuse after he won the first battle round. According to reports, this was the reason that he left the show so he can go and enter rehab in Philadelphia.
