'Gilmore Girls' Cast Reunion 2015: Where Are They Now? What the Stars Have Been Busy With After the Hit Show

The cast of the series "Gilmore Girls" had a big reunion in the ATX Television Festival last Saturday night. According to Variety's report, the event was attended by Amy Sherman-Palladino, the creator of the show, Daniel Palladino, its executive producer, and some of its stars like Lauren Graham, Alexis Bledel, Kelly Bishop, Scott Patterson, Keiko Agena, Liza Weil, Jared Padalecki, Matt Czuchry, Yanic Truesdale, Liz Torres, Jackson Douglas, Todd Lowe, John Cabrera, Danny Strong and Milo Ventimiglia.

According to the report of TV Guide, the reunion discussed some of the happenings in the show and how the actors felt about it. It was reported that one of the highlights is remembering the late legendary Ed Herrmann, who played the role of Richard Gilmore, by showing some of his greatest scenes on the show. In the event, Scott Patterson also apologized for getting the fans to think that a movie is in the works in a podcast last month. According to EW.com, the show's creator Amy Sherman-Palladino already said in the event that "There's nothing in the works at the moment," but she followed it up by saying that it is not impossible in the future.

With the recent reunion, E Online listed what happened to some of the stars of "Gilmore Girls" after the ending of their hit show.

Lauren Graham, who played Loreli Gilmore, went on to play another one of television's best moms on NBC's show "Parenthood," which is currently on its final season.

Alexis Bledel, who played the sweet and shy Rory Gilmore, joined the show "Mad Men" as Beth, Pete's "housewife of a mistress." She is also best known for her role in the "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" movies with her best friends Blake Lively, America Ferrera and Ambery Tamblyn.

Scott Patterson, also known as Luke Danes in the show, played roles in smaller films like "Aliens in America" and a short-lived NBC series "The Event" back in 2008 and 2011, respectively.

Jared Padalecki, meanwhile, is now best known as Sam Winchester on CW's hit series "Supernatural," which is currently in its 10th season.

"Gilmore Girls" is an American TV show that ran from 2000 to 2007. It was about the relationship between a thirty-something single mother and her teenage daughter living in Stars Hollow, Conneticut.
