Former "Entertainment Tonight" host and current "Home and Family" presenter Mark Steines has listed his five-bedroom home located in Ojai, California. The price, according to a report from pagesix.com, is pegged at $2.3 million.
The home is of grand Mediterranean style and was the home of Steines and former wife, ex-Miss America Leanza Cornett. They split up in 2013 after eight years of being together. He lived with their two sons in the house before it was listed. The home measures 6,285 square feet.
According to Steines, "We try to go to our house in Ojai as much a possible, so we can spend more time outside. There was a period of time when we were going every weekend. I will have a career in photography, and then I will grow a beard and spend my days building stuff and selling it at the farmers markets up there."
According to the listing, the property has "sun-drenched living spaces that open up to expansive verandas." Unlike the homes Steines features, this property reportedly needs no fixing or improvement. The amenities include an art area, game room, home office and theater, according to a report from realtor.com.
Steines, who was on the red carpet for many events in the entertainment world, had traded that glamor for a toolbelt to become television's latest Mr. Fix-It. He co-hosts the show with Cristina Ferrare and he shares many do-it-yourself tips and tricks as well as other projects on the Hallmark Channel.
In a report from thetvpage.com, Steines said he was "relieved" to leave the entertainment news business, before moving on to his new show. He said, "That (celebrity news) stuff just isn't interesting to me." He added regarding his new show, "We don't try to cheat the audience in any way. We don't do things that are too contrived or (focus) a lot of the entertainment news."
