On June 25, 2009, the legendary King of Pop passed away due to acute intoxication of propofol and benzodiazepine, followed by cardiac arrest, at his home in Holmby Hills, California. After his death, his three children, Prince Michael Jackson II, Paris-Michael Katherine Jackson, and Michael Joseph Jackson Jr., tried to keep a low-profile image.
It will be in a few weeks before the sixth anniversary of the death of the famous pop icon, but his family celebrated a great and joyous milestone just recently, and this made the Jackson family very proud.
CNN reported that Prince Michael Jackson II, 18 years old and eldest child of the late international pop superstar, graduated with honors from the Buckley School in Sherman Oaks, California.
CNN also had a peak of La Toya Jackson's Twitter account, where she posted her picture together with her nephew and proudly said, "So very proud of @princemjjjaxon YOU DID! And you did it with Honors!!! #buckleyclassof2015" @latoyajackson.
According to a report from E! Online, the honorable newly graduate was joined by his proud grandmother Katherine Jackson, his sister Paris, his youngest brother Blanket, and several relatives, who were all present at the graduation ceremonial. They cheered and whistled when Prince's name was mentioned. Paris gave her brother a big embrace for his accomplishment. The eldest of the three siblings was spotted wearing a gown with a red sash and a black cap on his graduation.
Also a news from ibtimes.com said that T.J. Jackson, Michael Jackson's cousin and a member of the R&B and pop trio '3T,' was also there at the commencement ceremony. The singer posted a picture showing Prince posing with his diploma beside him on Instagram. He captioned the picture and wrote about how proud he was of Prince and that he would continue to support his nephew whereever he was. T.J. was made a co-guardian of Michael's children in 2012.
On his Twitter account, Prince tweeted on April 29 his additional study plans. He said he would pursue his studies and attend Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles.
