Chris Brown recently apologized to Kendall and Kylie Jenner after he reposted a meme that allegedly labelled their father, Caitlyn Jenner, a "science project." The meme was originally posted by Snoop Dogg on his Instagram account and the "Turn Up the Music" singer reposted it via his social media account on Wednesday.
According to Hollywood Life, both artists decided to poke fun on Jenner because they thought that the world was giving her so much attention when other more important issues should be addressed. At that time, Snoop Dogg and Brown wanted the world to focus their attention on fellow musician Akon, who just supplied 600 million Africans with solar power.
However, after Brown reposted the meme, thousands of his fans and the fans of the Kardashian-Jenner clan slammed him and called his move "insensitive." After facing backlash, Brown immediately apologized to Kendall and Kylie, who also happen to be his good friends. The latter is reportedly dating his best friend Tyga.
A source close to Brown confirmed the news to the publication and said, "Chris reached out to Kendall and Kylie to apologize, saying he didn't mean to hurt anyone and that it was nothing personal against Caitlyn, who he considers incredibly brave."
The source also revealed that the youngest daughters of Jenner accepted the singer's apology and all three of them are now moving on from the issue.
"Kendall and Kylie certainly are not going to hold and grudge and they feel he just made a simple mistake," the source added.
Meanwhile, Design N Trend noted the fact that Brown has been apologizing for some of his wrongdoings lately. According to the publication, Brown ran into his ex-girlfriend Karrueche at a nightclub in Hollywood. At that time, he tried reaching out to Tran and even followed her into a waiting vehicle, but the encounter did not end up positively.
