‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ Movie Cast Rumors: Nicholas Hoult Trying To Win Back Jennifer Lawrence?

"X-Men: Apocalypse" co-stars Nicholas Hoult and Jennifer Lawrence may have called it quits a few months back, but there are reports that the former is using his time on set to reach out to the latter. According to Mirror UK, the 25-year-old actor is not necessarily trying to win back his ex-girlfriend, who is now dating Coldplay frontman Chris Martin. However, this does not mean that he is not charming his way into her heart.

A source also told the publication that it's possible Hoult wants to have an impact on Lawrence, either as a girlfriend or even just as a friend. However, this rumor may contradict other previous reports linking Hoult to "Glee" alum Diana Agron. There was previous news that the two traveled to UK together, thus heightening speculations that they are indeed an item.

Meanwhile, there have also been rumors that Lawrence and Martin want to move in together. According to Hollywood Life, moving in together would take their relationship to the next level and it seems that the two are ready to do so.

"Jen and Chris had been struggling to move forward with their relationship because she couldn't handle always coming second to Gwyneth. Jen put a huge amount of pressure on Chris to make a statement to show his commitment to her, which he wasn't prepared to do until now," a source told the publication.

With this, it may be safe to say that Hoult and Lawrence's relationship is officially over because the two are reportedly already involved with other people. However, the next couple of months can change this because the filming of "X-Men: Apocalypse" is set to continue towards the end of 2015.

"X-Men: Apocalypse" is slated for release in the U.S. on May 27, 2016. In the film, Lawrence will reprise her role as Mystique, the potential love interest of Hoult's character, Hank McCoy.
