'The Simpsons’ Episodes, TV Series Spoilers: Bart Simpson To Be Killed By Sideshow Bob Next Season

Sideshow Bob's attempts at killing off his nemesis, Bart Simpson, may finally pay off in the upcoming season of "The Simpsons." Executive producer Al Jean recently spoke with Entertainment Weekly to reveal that indeed, Sideshow Bob, Krusty Clown's former sidekick, will kill Bart during the Halloween episode of the hit animated series.

However, fans of "The Simpsons" should not worry too much about the character's fate because Jean said Bart's demise will only be temporary.

According to Yahoo News, every year, "The Simpsons" airs a Halloween episode that is far from the usual format of the animated series. With this, Jean has finally decided to kill off Bart because some fans always wanted to see Sideshow Bob succeed.

Meanwhile, Nancy Cartwright, the voice talent behind the character Bart, previously dished on how she wants the character to be killed off in the future. According to her, Bart's death should be created based on what fans want to see and not based on the production's budget, the Sydney Morning Herald reported.

In other news, "The Simpsons" producers also revealed that a character from "The Simpsons Movie" will appear on the 27th season of the series. The character is none other than Homer Simpson's Spider-Pig.

Additionally, long-time voice actor Harry Shearer will no longer return to the series, but the producers said that they are currently in talks with the voice talent to reprise his role as Mr. Bums.

There have also been reports that "The Simpsons" have been influential at predicting certain events from the future. According to The Independent UK, the animated series foreshadowed certain events including the Fifa corruption, NSA surveillance and even the use of smart watches. The publication also noted that "The Simpsons" inspired Apple employees to design the iPhone because the show made use of a touchpad that had an autocorrect function.
