Benedict Cumberbatch is reportedly living a "relatively low-stress life" with his wife Sophie Hunters, as reported by News Everyday.
In an interview with Lufthansa magazine cited by tv3.com, the "Sherlock Holmes" actor apparently said that "children enhance life" and "give you inspiration" rather than limit or inhibit it. Cumberbatch and Hunters are expecting their first child.
"I think what children do is enhance your life, they don't inhibit it. They don't limit it, they give you inspiration and depths of understanding of the human condition and what it is to be on this planet and what our purpose is, that goes well beyond anything a childless actor could hope for," he said.
In a report by Design& Trend, Cumberbatch expressed his excitement about meeting his child. He also added that the child will be the most important part of his life. Cumberbatch also reportedly shared that his top priority is to have a "normal life" when it comes to parenting. The couple is planning to raise their child in London, as mentioned by Mirror.
Right now, Cumberbatch is said to be fascinated with scuba diving. According to the reports, when pressures of the industry strike, he usually looks for a place to go scuba diving.
"When it's possible, I get into a plane and fly off to a place where I can go diving. There's nothing I find more peaceful than being underwater," Cumberbatch shared.
Benedict Cumberbatch and Sophie Hunters tied the knot on February 14 this year at the St. Peter and St.Paul's Church in Mottistone, located on the Isle Wight in England.
