In an interview with Access Hollywood, Chris Pratt Clarifies that the "Impotent" remark he made in Men's Health U.K. , meant that he a had a lower sex drive when he weighed 300lbs.
Correcting his mistake, The Guardians of the Galaxy star explains, "I'm not sure I knew what 'impotent' meant when I said it". What he actually meant was he only had a lower sex drive because his spirit was dull and he didn't feel great. He was "impotent" and "depressed" when he was overweight, a fact that many people can relate to.
In his previous interview with Men's Health interview, Pratt remembered how he would eat "three or four cheeseburgers" which left him fat and emotionally depressed, the US Magazine reports.
In a budge to foil eyebrows from people with body weight issues however, Pratt explains, "I don't want to ever come out against sounding like I'm talking smack about people who have issues with their body weight. To each their own, but to those who felt the way I felt at that time, there's really hope."
Chris added that people can "make a big change" with hard work and dedication. "And it will affect you, not just physically, not just the way you look, but how you feel and how your spirit feels and how your penis feels - especially the penis part!"
Chris Pratt said goodbye to his blubber days when he won the role as the human-alien-cyborg hybrid leader of the Guardians of the Galaxy, Peter Quill or Star-Lord. Being fat before, he can convincingly speak to help people with weight problems fight off the silent disease called obesity.
Chris also explains that having a deadline to get in shape pushes one to exercise. He also advises to seek the help of professionals like nutritionists and trainers.
