The highly anticipated "Batman vs Superman" movie is once again making a buzz online with the release of new photos of the Batmobile cockpit as well as the costume of Wonder Woman. Along with this, a new report about the leaked plot of the movie has surfaced.
According to Collider, they were able to acquire a copy of the "official synopsis" of "Batman vs Superman" before the Licensing Expo in Las Vegas tomorrow. The synopsis reads: "Fearing the actions of a god-like super hero left unchecked, Gotham City's own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis's most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it's ever known before."
Collider says the provided synopsis is actually in line with the film's first trailer (seen below). However, it reportedly remains to be seen what the "new threat" in the synopsis is referring to, which could possibly unite the two superheroes, Batman and Superman. It is also yet to be revealed how villain Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) and another superhero Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) fit in the story.
Meanwhile, new high-resolution pictures of the Batmobile along with its specs have been recently unveiled. Collider, in a separate report, said that it was among the press members who were given access to the Licensing Expo in Las Vegas just before it was opened to the public. The official description of the sleek vehicle was also provided, which states that the "infamous pursuit and capture vehicle" can have a maximum speed of 205 mph and features the "latest in covert military grade armaments, stealth and active protection systems." The same site has provided photos as well as a video of the new Batmobile.
Still in line with the Licensing Expo, the costumes of Wonder Woman, Batman and Superman were also revealed. These same costumes are reportedly the ones worn by Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot and Henry Cavill in "Batman vs Superman" movie. This is the first time that the costume of the new Wonder Woman was revealed. The character will reportedly be wielding a sword and a shield in the movie.
"Batman vs Superman" release date is set on March 25, 2016 in the U.S. The film is directed by Zack Synder, and the cast includes Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Jesse Eisenberg, Amy Adams, Jeremy Irons and more. Watch the film's first trailer below.
