'Ant-Man' Movie Release Date, Update: Teaser To Debut Ahead Of 'Jurassic World' Screening; Spoilers Revealed

Marvel's "Ant-Man" will debut its six-minute teaser ahead of the "Jurassic World" screening on June 12. However, not all cinemas showing the Chris Pratt-starrer will have the chance to watch the clip.

According to Ecumenical News, the six-minute trailer of "Ant-Man" will be shown in select IMAX theaters in the United States. At present, Marvel and Disney have already released a TV spot trailer for the film that is being shown on different networks in the country. However, the six-minute teaser will reportedly be so much better than what Marvel and comic book fans may have already seen.

Meanwhile, according to Cinema Blend, "Ant-Man" will also appear prior to the screening of "Avengers: Infinity War" parts one and two. According to the publication, Marvel's attempts at hyping up "Ant-Man" ahead of its release could potentially work. First, the production company was wise enough to release a series of TV spot ads within the past couple of weeks.

To add to this, some of the most famous Marvel superheroes have been involved in promoting the film as well. For instance, Captain America's shield, Thor's hammer and the Hulk's screaming were all featured at the start of the teaser.

The 31-second teaser that was also shown in cinemas across the world then teased, "The Marvel Universe Is About To Get A Lot Bigger." According to the publication, the witty tagline does the film justice because as most people know, the Ant-Man is supposed to be small but powerful.

"Ant-Man" stars Paul Rudd, Michael Douglas, Evangeline Lilly, Corey Stoll, Michael Pena, Patrick Wilson, Bobby Canavale, Judy Greer and more. It follows the story of con artist Scott Lang (Rudd) who wants to become a better person. With the help of Hank Pym (Douglas), anything is possible.

The film is slated for release in theaters in the U.S. this coming July 17. "Ant-Man" also serves as Marvel's last movie for 2015.
