'The Incredibles 2' 2015 Plot Spoilers: Story To Be Based On Cut Parts From Original?

"The Incredibles 2" director Brad Bird recently confirmed that a sequel to the hit film "The Incredibles" will be in the works soon. Additionally, Bird also revealed that some parts that were cut out from the first installment may also be shown in the upcoming sequel.

According to Master Herald, Bird said that he has a lot of wonderful ideas that didn't make it to "The Incredbiles." Now he has a chance to incorporate them to the upcoming movie.

However, the director clarified that this would not mean fans cannot expect something big and exciting for "The Incredibles 2." In fact, Bird said that he and his team are already coming up with a storyline that can highlight the individual characters, specifically the three children, Violet, Dash and Jack Jack, who are all grown up now.

In an interview with Collider, Bird said, "I had a lot of ideas from the original 'Incredibles' that I didn't get a chance to use, that I like. I have ideas that I wanted to pursue a little bit and there wasn't enough time in 'Incredibles.'"

Meanwhile, Crossmap reported that Bird wasn't all too happy with directing "The Incredibles 2" at first because he believes that there's a chance Pixar is looking at the opportunity from a financial perspective. According to him, the most important part of the film is the story and now that he has it, he's ready for the sequel.

"We feel we have a relationship with the audience and that they believe in each movie we put out. We believe completely in every movie we put out. If I can come up with a story that is as good or as better than the first film, then I'd love to return to that world, but it would be the story first," he said at that time.
