John Fox, Bears' Coach, Sells his Charlotte Home for $7M

The football season may not be around the corner but the Chicago Bears' new head coach is busy listing his Charlotte home for $7 million. John Fox's estate measures about 14,866 square feet. The Spanish style home located on the 14th fairway of the Quail Hollow Club features a giant home theater and a vast grassy backyard.

According to Realtor, the estate was originally built back in 2007. The luxury six-bedrooms home has a huge space for all kinds of entertainment. The interior is filled with the finest and the highest quality of craftsmanship and furniture. Aside from the home theater, it also has a grand hall, a great room and a marble staircase. The outside is perfect for "al fresco" parties as it has a large pool and a covered patio. It also has an outdoor living room that comes with a fireplace. The outdoor living room is filled with cozy furniture and a flat screen television which makes it a perfect place to watch a game.

Fox was a former defensive quarterback and is considered as a defensive-minded coach, according to NFL.com's report. He has spent over 10 years in Charlotte and acted as the head coach of the football team Carolina Panthers. He and his wife even held on to this property when Fox needed to move to coach the Denver Broncos back in 2011.

Just this year, he was named as the new head coach for the Chicago Bears, just days after he parted ways with the Denver Broncos. Fox agreed to a four-year deal and takes over for Marc Trestman, who was fired December of last year after posting a 13-19 record for over two seasons, as reported by ESPN. He becomes the third head coach to lead the Bears since 2012.
