The most awaited event of the year for comic, movie and TV geeks is less than a month away. Comic-Con in San Diego returns to the San Diego Convention Center beginning on July 8 until July 12.
With the Comic-con fast approaching, Warner Bros. has announced its plans of adding its 18 TV series to this year's lineup. According to ComingSoon.net, the said series will include 13 returning fan-favorite shows and five more anticipated programs, which will make their debut.
Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment are joining forces again this year for an epic Saturday night in the event hall on July 11. It will feature favorite superheroes and supervillains as well as special appearances from some shows like "Arrow," "Gotham," and the highly anticipated television series "DC's Legend of Tomorrow." The three-hour special event will also feature the full pilot screening of one of the most awaited television series, "Supergirl."
This year Marvel won't be participating in the said event. According to a report from Heroic Hollywood, Marvel Studios felt that it could not compete with the upcoming DC panel from Warner Bros. Marvel also doesn't have footages from their current movie "Captain America: Civil War" since it is currently under production.
However, this year's Comic-con will still be filled with lots of movie and television icons like Paul Wesley and Ian Somerhalder from "The Vampire Diaries," Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles and Misha Collins from "Supernatural," Joseph Morgan from "The Originals" and many more.
The 20th Century Fox also announced the full guide to their programming for the event which includes panels from the anticipated horror television series "Scream Queens," its new show "Damien" and some old favorites like "American Horror Story," as reported by Mashable.
