Miley Cyrus' way of promoting a great cause is far different from the others. This makes her a "one and only." Miley and her pet pig, Bubba Sue, are on the summer cover of Paper magazine, and for her it is a great opportunity to support a great cause. The cover story, which features plenty of NSFW images of the young pop star, emphasizes the Happy Hippie Foundation, a nonprofit launched by Miley in May, which is destined to help LGBT and destitute kids. In Paper's issue, Miley also explained in a few words her awareness of her own benefit.
"I was doing a show two nights ago and I was wearing butterfly nipple pasties and butterfly wings. I was standing there with my tits out, dressed like a butterfly," Miley said, as quoted by popsugar.co.uk, and this is not the first time that the singer brought these issues into the limelight. Last year at VMA, aside from bringing a once homeless guy named Jesse as her event date, she also let him receive her award on her behalf so he could talk about his life experiences.
Her pet pig's appearance made the cover more interesting. It doesn't only promote her foundation, but it seems that she also advocates the love for animals. Although appearing almost naked, which turned everyone shocked, her purpose being for a good cause made Miley even more popular.
"Shocked? Startled? Well, that's fine, but Miley's been pretty vocal about the fact that she's been using her outrageous antics to call attention to important social causes. So, now that she's got your attention with her lil' piggy...care to have a conversation about LGBT youth homelessness?" declares Pop Crush.
Popular or not, we all have different ways of expressing ourselves, and this is Miley's way of sending a message and promoting goodness to others. Despite her fame, fortune and busy career, Cyrus finds a way to support and promote a great cause, and that deserves some respect.
