Jhonny Peralta, the former top draft pick of the Cleveland Indians, now calls St. Louis his home. According to a report from realtor.com, the shortstop's Ohio home is now listed on the market.
The home located in Westlake, Ohio is up for sale for just $675,000. The Colonial style home has four bedrooms with baths. It is open right to the street curb and has a gabled roof, brick facade and imposing double door entrance to the house from the walkway.
The interior has an open floor plan, with Peralta opting for the built-in study and dining area near the front of the house. It has a two-story living room with a fireplace at the center, towards the back of the interior. The kitchen is right near the living room, with an area that can fit a breakfast bar, an island as well as small dining nook. The countertops are granite with dark wood cabinets and stainless steel appliances.
The masters bedroom has a high-end carpet entrance and lots of lighting, both natural and electric. The masters bathroom has a shower separate from a soaking tub, with his-and-her sinks on a marble top vanity cabinet.
The exterior of the property has a great view of a large pond, with a wide expanse of lawn area for trees and other vegetation.
Since being traded by the Indians to the Detroit Tigers, Peralta earlier this year signed with the St. Louis Cardinals. According to a report from foxsports.com, Peralta homered and batted in the tie-breaking run during the eighth inning of their game against the Los Angeles Dodgers, to lead the Cardinals to a 4-2 win.
