Heidi Klum is looking into purchasing an island estate in Connecticut for a price of $10.99 million. According to New York Post, the German supermodel wants to have an island of her very own.
The star expressed her interest on the listed 3.5 acre Tavern Private Island off the coast of of Rowayton, Conn, which is located very near Manhattan. According to the listing by Rick Higgins of the Higgins Group Real Estate as reported by Daily Voice, the estate offers views overlooking the charming village harbor of Rowayton and a stunning display of New York's city lights during the night.
The three-and-a-half acre island comes with a 6,116-square-foot Tudor mansion with its own six bedrooms that was built in 1900. However, the island itself was the first home to European settlers back in 1651. It was also reported that during the 1950s and 1960s, it was a party central for celebrities like Marilyn Monroe when the island was then owned by the legendary Billy Rose. Aside from the mansion, the island also has a guest house, tea house and boat house. There is also a 75-foot swimming pool and even a private beach.
Aside from being a famous supermodel, Klum is also an actress, fashion designer, TV producer, television host, businesswoman and also an occasional singer.
