After her controversial revelation in her Vanity Fair cover, Caitlyn Jenner made her first public appearance when she gave a speech at the Los Angeles LGBT Youth Center. Looking very stylish and comfortable with her new look, Jenner was seen wearing a classy outfit: a simple black top with knee-high leather boots and form-fitting jeans.
Along with red nail polish, she also wore natural-looking make up and accessorized her outfit with stone charm bracelet and diamond stud earrings. She also wore a designer shoulder bag by Elisabeth Weinstock Tokyo.
Based on the report by ET Online, Jenner's visit to the youth center lasted approximately two hours. She took a tour of the facility and also learned more about the different programs of the center. She also brought some gifts for the group that was present, which comprised youth aged 14 to 24.
The main mission of the center was to build a world where the LGBT community can live a normal life in the society. It was reported that this mission seems to fit right with Jenner's views. Jenner previously said that she decided to share her story because she wanted to help other people who were in the same situation as hers. She was quoted as saying, "I'm not doing it for money. I'm doing it to help my soul and help other people."
According to Daily Mail, Jenner also spoke with the program manager for the Center's Transgender Economic Empowerment Project while she was touring the facility. This project helps transgender men and women to develop professional skills in order for them to land a job. She also participated in a roundtable discussion and even one-on-one talks with some of the people who were helped by the center.
Currently, Jenner is also busy with the upcoming premiere of her eight-part documentary series in E! which will debut on July 26.
