The Italianate Napa Estate of the late Robin Williams gets a dramatic price drop down to $22.9 million. The estate was first listed with a price of $35 million back in 2012, when Williams was still alive. In 2014, the estate was offered at a more budget-friendly price of $29.9 million. Several months after his death in August 2014, the family decided to do another cut for $25.9 million. This makes it the fourth price slash of the estate.
According to LA Times, the place also known as Villa Sorriso was left by Williams to his children. The estate features a house with five bedrooms and six full bathrooms and six half bathrooms. It features a stucco and limestone finish, and the 20,000-square-foot area is filled with different classical details like rotundas and a sweet bell tower.
The estate grounds also have a four-bedroom caretaker quarter, 18 acres of vineyards and a barn that can fit a small fleet of horses. Meanwhile, the exterior features a tennis court and a 65-foot infinity edge pool overlooking the valley. According to the original listing, the home also features a state-of-the-art movie theater that can fit 12 people.
Before Williams' death, he made sure that his family received a lot of money from his estate. According to Hollywood Take, before he passed away from suspected suicide last year, his net worth was estimated to be $50 million.
By the last quarter of 2014, investigators confirmed that the death of the actor was due to asphyxia by hanging. The famous actor has reportedly left two trust accounts, with one holding his real estate properties and the other one to provide for his three children, namely, Zachary, Cody and Zelda.
