There is an upcoming cartoon movie that kids and kids at heart will surely love. This is exactly the concept behind Bruce Timm's 'Justice League: Gods and Monsters,' "which will explore all-new versions of the characters we know and love via a feature-length movie, a comic prequel and a web series on Machinima," MTV News reports.
Bruce Timm is popularly known as one of the minds behind '90s and early '00s cartoons like 'Batman: The Animated Series,' 'Batman Beyond' and 'Justice League.'
The Batman character will be played by Michael Hall, in place of Bruce Wayne, and his character in the famous comics will be Man-Bat, also known as Kirk Langstrom. Wonder Woman, who will be played by Tamara Taylor, will come from Ares, the warring nation. Superman, on the other hand, has become the son of the villain General Zod.
You will be overwhelmed and amazed when you discover how Timm got this idea. This very new concept actually came from an old source.
"I flashed back to the Silver Age versions of Flash and Green Lantern," Timm said, "who, when they brought them back in the mid '50s, they basically kept the name and the basic gimmick of the Golden Age versions of those characters but then threw everything else out. They had new origin stories, their powers worked differently, they had new costumes. They even had new alter egos. And that was really exciting and as it turned out, those are the versions of the characters that kind of stuck" (quote cited by hollywoodreporter.com).
The movie will feature these three characters. According to Hollywood Reporter, the movie starts with Superman's origin on Krypton and then jumps forward into the future and basically already become a working unit as the Justice League.
There will be three exciting episodes, the first will evolve around the characters, which will begin playing on Monday, and then followed by the feature film. It will finally will be available for home views on July 28, 2015.
