Details of the Microsoft's remastered edition of "Gears of War" was apparently leaked ahead of game's official announcement during the annual Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) event, hinting additional free downloadable contents for Xbox One, an IGN report said on Sunday.
The leaked information has made its way online via a "Gears of War" Russian website, and gamers are excited about the 90-minute additional content, which is exclusive for the desktop version of the game. According to IGN, the remastered edition of "Gears of War" has an improved sensitivity, which allows players to mark and hit targets swiftly, compared to the previous version of the game.
Siliconera has listed the following features based on leaked details from the Russian website:
- Adapted for Dolby 7.1 Surround
- 90 minutes of new content for campaign mode of the original game on PC
- New achievements for Xbox Live (player account 1250)
- Gallery sketches and comics available to unlock
- Streamlined multiplayer mode
- 60 frames per second
- Dedicated servers
- Selection of players for skills
- New types of games: "Team Fight", "King of the Hill" (in the style of "Gears of War 3") and the new 2 2 Destruction "Gnasheriom."
- Streamlined gameplay, more fluid movements and updated management system
- Alternate control system and a brand new control scheme for the tournament
- All control parameters adapted for Xbox One
- Added features: marking enemy targets, the use of the device in the multiplayer game and improved setting.
Aside from these, players will also be able to download new 19 cars, and this includes downloadable contents and cards for desktop computer versions of the game. They can also access 17 characters of "Gears of War 3" for multiplayer games and use the new features: choice of parameters of the active charge, renewal, revival, emergence of an independents arms.
Although there is no official announcement yet for the release of "Gears of War," speculations have been doing rounds online as the E3 event draws near. "Gears of War" remastered edition is reportedly slated to be released on August 15, 2015 in Xbox One console platform.
