Hillary Clinton News, Update: Check Out Her Spotify Playlist

Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton's 2016 presidential race is on full throttle after a grand formal launch on New York City's Roosevelt Island last Saturday - and we can now listen to what she's listening along the way on Spotify.

Hours before the launch, Clinton's campaign released her official Spotify playlist featuring uplifting anthems, as reported by CNN. Some of the female artists included are Kelly Clarkson, Katy Perry, Sara Bareilles, and Jennifer Lopez.

The playlist starts off with "Believer" by Brooklyn four-piece American Authors (featured twice on the list), and "The Fighter" by Geneva, New York's Gym Class Heroes. After that, the list journeys to a more modern, upbeat hits including Katy Perry's "Roar," Kelly Clarkson's "Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)," and Pharrell's "Happy."

The playlist finishes off with Marc Antony's "Vivir Mi Vida." This song and Jennifer Lopez's "Jenny from the block" are said to appeal more to target the Latino vote.

In Clinton's campaign launch, band Echosmith played Cool Kids from their 2013 debut album Talking Kid. However, they were not included in the candidate's playlist.

Using a 1965 Beatles song, Clinton also took a jab at the Republicans, saying ""Now there may be some new voices in the presidential Republican choir. But they're all singing the same song. It's called 'Yesterday.' You know the one-'All our troubles look as though they're here to stay and they need a place to hide away. They believe in yesterday and you're lucky I didn't try singing that too, I'll tell you."

"We are at our best when we pick each other up, when we have each other's back," Clinton said as she appealed for unity. Like any family, our American family is strongest when we cherish what we have in common and fight back against those who would drive us apart."

Furthermore, ABC reported the Democrat's focus on "voting rights, equal pay for women, climate change, LGBT equality and affordable higher education."
