It seemed that the Twilight star Kristen Stewart has found new love with her assistant Alicia Cargile, after a sensational break up with long-term love and Twilight co-star, Robert Pattinson, 2 years ago as reported in Mirror. The public blamed Stewart for the break up as she was caught cheating on Robert with her Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders.
Whereas the public have a clear glance of Kristen's and Robert's previous relationship as Bella and Edward of the Twilight series, Kristen's alleged new romantic relationship seemed more reticent considering that she may be dating another female.
Kristen's mother however was all support to her daughter saying that "She's my daughter, I'm just her mom so she knows I would accept her choices". She also added that the couple are very happy together.
In what seems to be a defence to Kristen's alleged lesbian relationship, she also explained that "I feel like people need to be free to love whoever they want. I accept my daughter loves women and men. It's OK to be who you are in my world. We all choose our friends so we should be free to choose our lovers".
After news of Kristen's girlfriend spread over the Internet, however, Jules quickly released a statement to US Weekly saying that she never confirmed the status of Kristen and Alicia's relationship, HollywoodLife reports. Jules denied confirming that Kristen and Alicia are romantically involved to each other.
Jules further explained that her interview with Sharon Feinstein focused on her film K-11 displayed under the LGBT banner in the Hollywood Museum. Her statements indicating her support to gays and lesbians were made when she was asked about her personal views on gay rights and not on her daughter's alleged affair with another girl.
