‘Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End’ Trailer, Release Date, and New Gameplay Revealed in Sony’s E3 2015 [See demo]

What seemed to be a good day for E3 2015 proved to be more perfect when Sony unleashed juicy details about the highly-anticipated action game, Uncharted 4: A Thief's End. The gameplay was also showcased at the press conference and you can see the videoclip at the end of this article.

The trailer featured series hero, Nathan Drake, reunited with Sully, his mentor. Both partnered up for a shootout at the market stalls of what looks a South American city, before getting involved in a downhill chase riding a jeep.

Drake displays new combat moves such as a flying punch (we can see him knock down an enemy and then catching the thrown gun in just one movement).

The game discloses that Uncharted 4's world looks more open than the previous Uncharted games while the destruction level clearly showed that it has been taken way up the scale. This will undoubtedly bring more excitement to the loyal fans and is expected to bring in new players.

The gameplay demo ends with a scene of Nate and Sully cutting through cross country where they end up driving across the roofs. They are seen to be in pursuit of thugs holding Sam.

To recall, during the PSX 2014, Uncharted 4's gameplay trailer unveiled that Nate has an older brother named Sam (voiced by Troy Barker).

Uncharted 4: A Thief's End was first revealed in December 2013 where Uncharted 3 creative director/writer Amy Hennig and Justin Richmond would be in charge. However, both left the project including other Naughty Dog team members. Since then, The Last of Us directors, Neil Druckmann and Bruce Staley have been placed in charge.

The game is slated to be released on the first quarter of 2016 and will be available for Playstation 4.
