'Minions' 2015 London Premiere: Sandra Bullock Stuns on the Yellow Carpet in the World Premiere of 'Minions'

Sandra Bullock stunningly graces her carpet return for the world premiere of the new animation movie 'Minions' at London's Leicester Square last Thursday. This time, she walks the yellow carpet in praise of her yellow companions. Contact Music reports that the 50-year old actress hadn't attended a red carpet event since July of last year's Spike TV's Guys' Choice Awards.

'Minions' is the spin-off of 'Despicable Me,' which focuses on the yellow fellows searching for their master villain before they met Gru.

Bullock voices Scarlett Overkill, super villain who recruits the minions to help her take over the world.

'The Proposal' star wore an alluring black and silver Stella McCartney dress, which showcased her toned arms and legs. Saint Laurent strappy shoes groomed her feet for the red carpet, and Jack Vartanian jewels completed her whole look, notes Contact Music.

On the yellow carpet at the film's world premiere in London on Thursday, Bullock said she enjoyed doing Scarlet Overkill's voice for the movie. "It's fantastic because she's justified, she's misunderstood," shares Bullock, as reported by The Daily Observer.

"She's an 8-year old little girl who's throwing temper tantrums because she wants what she wants. But it was really fun to play," the Academy Award winner said.

Although Bullock had hurdled the challenge of lending voice for a cartoon character, according to The Daily Observer, she admits that this might be the last time she's doing it.

"It's hard because I like having other actors to play off of or other minions to play off of and I didn't have that," she said.

"So you really discover a lot of what you don't know, you really rely on the director and the whole team that's behind that sort of glass partition to help guide you."

"It was so hard and I don't think it's my forte," she said. "I don't think I'm as good at it as other people are. And if it worked out, great, I think this might be the last time."

The 'Gravity' star also reveals that her 5-year-old son Louis doesn't know she would be voicing Scarlett Overkill, according to Contact Music. In fact, her son doesn't know she's an Oscar winner and a household name in the industry. Although Louis doesn't know her mom's real occupation, this doesn't stop Sandra from taking on roles that she's sure would make her son happy, reports Belfast Telegraph.

"I wanted to make something my son could see and watch and enjoy, even though he doesn't know what I do and he doesn't know it's me - I can sit in the theatre and watch him," she said.

'Minions' will invade your local theatres this July 10th. Watch out!
