Nintendo E3 2015 News: 'Star Fox,' 'Super Mario' Games Unveiled

Japan-based consumer electronic company Nintendo has finally announced the games that it plans to roll out starting this year. Nintendo unveiled the titles' gameplay during the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) event this week.

According to a Yahoo report, Nintendo announced its upcoming game, the "Star Fox: Zero," a space dog fighting series that allows players to use a ship in a third-person view on the television and a first-person cockpit view. This game can be played via a Wii U gamepad, and players will get to transform the spaceship into a mech-like Walker by just pressing a button. Nintendo says that "Star Fox: Zero" will hit retail stores during the holidays.

"Super Mario Maker," according to the same Yahoo report, is scheduled to be released in September 2015. Nintendo claims that "Super Mario Maker" is another treat for its avid gamers especially when the Wii U is released during the holidays. The game is now on its 30th year and players will be able to celebrate it with the new title's release. Furthermore, Nintendo also announced a toy that will be released alongside "Skylanders: SuperChargers," a game based on Nintendo icons Donkey Kong and Bowser. Gamers can reportedly expect a hybrid Skylanders-amiibo figures, which is a first for Nintendo.

The other games announced previously by Nintendo that will be available in the Wii U device are the following: "Yoshi's Wooly World and Xenoblade Chronicles X," "Animal Crossing: Amiibo" and the "Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash."

On the other hand, VG247 reported that Nintendo will also debut "The Legend of Zelda: Tri-Force Heroes," which is a new 3DS game. Players will be allowed to invite two other players in the game and there's also a single-player mode that gamers can access. The game, according to the same website, is slated to be rolled out in fall this year.
