Storybrooke is set to return on ABC this September and fans are reportedly being treated with a new set of spoilers. According to Venture Capital Post, fans will be seeing more of Rebecca Mader, who plays the role of Zelena, and Sean Maguire, who plays Robin Hood. It was reported that fans are very excited for this since the Wicked Witch has become a fan favorite.
Earlier, it was rumored that Zelena was supposed to be removed from the storyline during the third season of the show. However, she proved to be a great addition to the drama, which is why she is set to become a regular in the popular series. According to reports, she will be up to no good and will be controlling Emma as she turns into the Dark One to try and ruin Queen Regina's (Lana Parrilla) life.
In the finale of Season 4, Emma, played by Jennifer Morrison, used the dagger and found herself in the Dark Side. Based from that scene, it seems like in the first parts of Season 5, Hook (Colin O'Donoghue) and Henry (Tony Perez) will be looking for a companion to bring Emma back. According to Christian Today, that someone will be Merlin, the sorcerer.
The bad news is, Michael Soocha's character, Will Scarlett, has reportedly been downgraded to Season 4. According to the show's creators, his character has not really progressed as someone memorable. He won't be completely be removed from the show though as he will still be reportedly seen in the upcoming episodes if his character weaves into the story.
Rumors say that the show will be generally in the medieval era. As of writing, showrunners are rumored to be looking for actors who will play the parts of Merlin and Guinevere, who will be introduced Season 5.
Fans are now looking forward to the show's premiere on September 27 on ABC.
