"Fifty Shades of Grey" star Rita Ora recently opened up about her split from Scottish DJ Calvin Harris. According to reports, she is also sending out a warning to "Blank Space" singer Taylor Swift who is reportedly currently dating the musician.
In an interview with Marie Claire, Ora said that she broke up with Harris for a reason.
"There was a reason why I split up with him. And there's a reason why I'm at this point in my life where I feel like I have so much musical freedom and I don't have to explain myself to anybody. It was more of a thing where I was in awe. I was at that point in my relationship where I felt he could do no wrong," she said.
However, at one point during their relationship, Ora said that it felt like their personal life was being mixed too much with their professional collaborations.
"I thought he had my back and that he'd never steer me wrong. But then 'I Will Never Let You Down' came out and everything started to go a bit weird. I don't know if it was because business was mixed with personal or what," she explained.
Following the song's release, Ora revealed that Harris prevented her from performing the single at the Teen Choice Awards because he was the one who wrote and produced it, according to US Weekly.
Meanwhile, Ora also talked about her mindset when it comes to dating and relationships. The singer said she is not ashamed to admit that she's scared of being alone. However, she hopes that it will no longer be a never-ending cycle for her.
"Sometimes love just makes you feel crazy. And that feeling that we have as girls, just to have that feeling, even for five seconds, it's like crack. I mean, don't compare it to that, but you know what I mean. It's like comfort eating," she said.
