Well, Jesse Pinkman can really be sneaky.
This past weekend, Aaron Paul pulled off a tease on his Instagram about a "top secret" project. He wrote: "Can't wait to tell you what this is all about. It's top secret for now but you all will know soon enough."
"It's a new gig that I am over the moon about. Thank you angel for sending this to me from across the country. Love you lots and lots," he added, reports Time.
Monday night, Paul fired shots, as he announced on Periscope that a 'Breaking Bad' spinoff was in the works with Jesse Pinkman's story as plot, reports Entertain This. Fans were so psyched about the news; they bombed social media with countless of throwback images of the Emmy-winning series. The video, which was uploaded on YouTube, was a 12-minute clip of Paul talking in his Boston hotel room about the spinoff of his character 'Jesse Pinkman' and the creator of 'Breaking Bad' Vince Gilligan, according to Uproxx.
Later on, Aaron Paul also dropped a more astonishing bomb. It was only a joke.
He tweeted on June 16: "Sorry for the joke everybody. I love you all so much. Hugs and kisses," reports Entertainment Weekly.
Up on a high, fans were dipped low and started ranting on Twitter about Aaron Paul's affecting prank.
In order to make up for his really bad joke, Paul invited fans to watch 'Mad Max: Fury Road' with him in Boston, where he films his new movie 'Central Intelligence' with Kevin Hart and Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, according to Entertainment Weekly.
Public archiving isn't Periscope's thing, but Aaron Paul's Monday night chat was recorded on YouTube. Interested to watch? Curious fellows can view the clip on Uproxx.
'Breaking Bad' is an AMC multiple Emmy-awarded series with a rating of 100% by Rotten Tomatoes for four consecutive seasons.
