'Kingdom Hearts 3' E3 2015 Release Date, Trailer & News: Gamers to Enjoy Bigger Worlds

Although game developer Square Enixthe unveiled a gameplay trailer (seen below) of "Kingdom Hearts 3" during the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2015, there is hardly any inofrmation about the game so far. However, game director Tetsuya Nomura is expected to reveal more details about the game in November during Japan's D23 Expo, according to Gamezone.

Regarding the said expo, Gematsu quoted Nomura as saying, "We have some interesting things planned. There will be 'Kingdom Hearts III' news, and various things, I think. Development on 'Kingdom Hearts III' is going smoothly, but there will also be new announcements connected to it. As one of those new announcements, I think we should be able to announce a smartphone-specific development for the series in short order," he mentioned.

Nomura also shared that "Kingdom Hearts 3" will be perfect and "far bigger than previous 'Kingdom Heart' titles." Also, the development team has reportedly prepared more worlds than those in "Kingdom Hearts 2." The developers apparently have the option to refine the worlds they want to appear in the game.

Gamezone also reports that Square Enix revealed that Tangled will be one of the new worlds featured in the game, with much of the trailer set in a lush grassland of the world. The trailer features one of the Titans from Hercules, as well as a walled city, which reportedly resembles Agrabah.

IGN explained other features of the game that were revealed. According to the report, "Pegasus summon was shown, with Sora riding in the back of a chariot pulled by the winged horse and dealing death to numerous Heartless." Also, Sora's ability to turn the Keyblade into both dual-wielded pistols and a double-bladed weapon was showcased. Additionally, there was also a galleon summon.

YouTube user The Gamers Joint released a video claiming that the gameplay trailer released by Square Enix during the E3 2015 has a date hint. If you watch the trailer at 2:23-2:24, you will reportedly notice a calendar. The YouTube user cited that the calendar can be October 2015 or December 2016, which is possibly the release date for the game. However, Kotaku cited that Square Enix has not announced a definite release date yet.

Meanwhile, PC Advisor reports that interested gamers can pre-order "Kingdom Hearts 3" from the U.S. version of Amazon. The listing reportedly says the game will be available on December 31, 2015, but according to the report, the said date tends to be a placeholder for games that don't have a specific release date yet.
