'iZombie' Season 2 Spoilers: Fathers of Liv and Evan Will Surface and the Major Turns into Human

For Season 2 of 'iZombie,' lead character Liv will face more turmoil as she cures the Major from his zombie state, her partner Clive investigates the death of the lieutenant further, and hers and Evan's fathers will be introduced.

According to International Business Times, 'iZombie' will be aired yet again by CW. The character Liv, played by Rose McIver, will continue to battle her fate as a zombie.

During Season 1, it was shown that the Meat Cute massacre has many more issues to unfold this coming Season 2. In fact, during the finale, it was shown that Liv will face many more challenges on staying alive, or half-alive as a zombie, now that her partner Detective Clive Babineaux, played by Malcolm Goodwin, is still searching for answers concerning the death of his lieutenant. He will play a significant role in patching clues up that lead to the Meat Cute bloodbath, which have been ignored by the Seattle Police Department. Babineaux also thinks that the Major played a role in the mishap after he met Blaine in Meat Cute.

Blaine, being the villain in the story, actually stabbed the Major in the presence of Liv. Because of this, Liv injected him with a cure for zombie sickness produced by Dr. Ravi, played by Rahul Kohil. Now that the Major is no longer a zombie, he is set to find a pack of zombies who may see him now as food and not as an ally.

According to Christian Post, the new season will introduce many more characters to the show, especially the parents of the leading roles such as Liv and Evan. The series creator Rob Thomas indicated during an interview that he kept the families of the characters hidden from the storyline during Season 1 because he was still unsure as to how he would introduce them in the story. However, we will definitely know them better in Season 2.

Catch Season 2 of 'iZombie' to air this fall on the CW Tuesdays at 9 in the evening, Eastern Standard Time.
