Gennady Golovkin vs Floyd Mayweather: Triple G Challenged to Destroy the WBO Super Welterweight Champion Floyd Mayweather Jr

Gennady Golovkin, well-known as Triple G, the most dangerous boxer in the world, challenged Mayweather for a match. In his interview, he said that his dream fight is a fight against Floyd Mayweather. And according to him, if this happens, he would always be ready and is 100% confident that he could beat Floyd 'Money' Mayweather.

Golovkin is quite arguably the greatest puncher in boxing today. He is a Beast in the ring! Triple G boasts a career record of 33-0, and currently he has 30 KO's and also 20 KO streaks. His work ethic and his punching power are becoming legendary. In The Ring's pound for pound rankings, he was in the No. 4 spot. He was hailed No.1 in the Middleweight class based on The Ring's report, according to ringtv.craveonline.com.

Now, Mayweather is talking back and spitting more trash at Triple G after Golovkin said the he would destroy Money. A report from tmz.com says that Money told FightHype.com that Golovkin is out of his mind if he thinks he can hang with the champ and said frankly that he would beat up Triple G because he is delusional. Mayweather recognizes that Triple G knocked out his last 20 opponents, but he said those guys were nobodies.

Based on Mayweather's response, it looks like we will not be having a Golovkin-Mayweather fight, but Gennady can't seem to attract the big names into the ring. According to tmz.com report, former boxing legend and current head of Golden Boy Promotions Oscar De La Hoya, 42, said that if he ever came out of retirement he would want to fight the best, and Golovkin would be at the top of his list. Golovkin said that he will always be ready for that.

It would be interesting if Mayweather steps into the ring with Triple G. But there are rumors saying that Mayweather is going to retire after his next contracted fight with 'Showtime' in September.
