She said, "Even just having Night Nurse and Claire Temple come together was already changing the Marvel Universe." She also added that she has no idea what the showrunners are planning regarding the storyline of the show. She also said that it's nice that she has a character that brings the world together. According to International Business Times, Dawson also expressed her excitement to see Jon Bernthal play the role of The Punisher.
Earlier this month, Jeph Loeb, Marvel TV head, announced that Jon Bernthal will be playing Frank Castle in Season 2 of "Daredevil." The character of the former "The Walking Dead" star is said to be one of the most controversial figures in the Marvel comic world. Loeb also added that Bernthal is perfect for the role. He said Bernthal brings an "unmatched intesiity" to his roles and connects perfectly with his audiences. He also added that the Punisher will bring "dramatic changes" to Matt Murdock's world.
According to Variety, there are no details yet on the number of episodes the character will appear in, but comic fans know that The Punisher has a big part in Daredevil's world.
