Twilight Star Robert Pattinson recently made a scene at Seth MacFarlane's party on June 19, Yahoo reported. Pattinson was in attendance of the 41-year-old filmmaker/actor's event to celebrate the upcoming release of MacFarlane's comedy Ted 2. A source said that the British actor was heading towards the restroom and stumbled into a grass wall that covers the washroom and completely knocked it over. The insider also said alcoholic beverages are free flowing in the event that might have caused the actor to slip and crash on the said wall grass.
The venue boasts a designated smoking area and a jazz bar, with an upper deck that is specifically made for the bash. The jazz bar was constructed on MacFarlane's tennis court. Aside from Pattinson, actors Nina Dobrev and her boyfriend Austin Stowell was also in attendance as well as Alex Borstein, Geoff Stults, Ben Savage, Dennis Haysbert, and Debby Ryan.
MacFarlane also took the stage and crooned the audiences with a string of Frank Sinatra hits. The comedian belted the ol-blue-eyes string of hits live with the jazz band.
In related news, according to TMZ, MacFarlane was recently sued over a bottle opener. In promoting the movie, MacFarlane has recently sold a talking bottle opener that the inventor did not like. In an official statement, the inventor said that he's been selling talking bottle openers for years and over 10 million units worldwide. His concept was licensed to several companies which include Twentieth Century Fox, the creator of Family Guy talking bottle openers in 2006.
According to the filed law suit, the special edition "Ted" DVD was dropped in the market in 2012 with a talking bottle opener in which he says was a ripoff of his registered product. He also cited the fact that since he made the Family Guy talking bottle opener, Seth have intentionally copied it from him.
MacFarlane has yet to comment on this suit.
