Entertainment company Bandai Namco has finally revealed that "Dark Souls 3" is slated to be released in the early quarter of 2016. The company said that in "Dark Souls 3," players will be able to encounter fearsome beasts that will be part of a "dark and brooding fantasy adventure."
The Verge described "Dark Souls 3" as the "most relevant Japanese franchise in the West." The report claims that the video game directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki is faster and intuitively beautiful compared the previous version of the game, "Dark Souls 2." A CGI trailer of "Dark Souls 3" was presented during the Microsoft's E3 conference earlier this week.
According to The Verge, "Dark Souls 3" offers several options to players. For instance, gamers can use a short bow that they can eventually fire in the middle of rolling dodges. Players can also use shields as a defense option. On a general note, "Dark Souls 3" combat styles are reportedly more fluid.
According to the same website, players will also be able to encounter a giant creature codenamed "Dance of the Frigid Valley," which, according to the report, is one of the oddest enemies in the video game. In a press release posted on the Bandai Namco's website, Herve Hoerdt, vice president of Marketing and Digital of Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe, said, "The DARK SOULS brand became a phenomenon thanks to amazing work from our dear partners From Software and our very own BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment teams. But above all, we are blessed to have such a supportive and loving community, and we are happy to dedicate this final episode to them!"
Bandai Namco said that in "Dark Souls 3" players will be able to explore various worlds with unrelenting challenges in order to survive the apocalypse with action-packed sword fights, sorcery combat and magic. "Dark Souls 3" will be available on Xbox One, Play Station 4, PC and other gaming console platforms. It can be played by one to four players. One feature of the game that was leaked earlier was that players are required to perform a certain ritual in order to enter other games.
