ABC's new mystery series is gaining a lot of buzz these days. After just three episodes, "The Whispers" has already received a huge following. Now the upcoming episode will feature more creepy encounters between Minx (Kylie Rogers), Henry (Kyle Harrison Breitkopf) and their invisible "friend" Drill.
A new teaser for the upcoming episode features Minx seemingly revealing that Drill is nothing but a product of her imagination. Since her parents have been fighting nonstop, it is possible that Minx was simply trying to get their attention. However, it is also quite impossible because Minx is not the only kid in the neighborhood who has been seeing and interacting with Drill. There is another boy, named Henry, who has become the latter's "friend."
In the upcoming episode, Minx and Henry will interact with one another, and during their meet-up, Minx will tell Henry that she's aware of his secret. Not only can Henry hear and speak, he's also been lying to his mom the whole time.
At one point, Minx also tells Henry that she knows what he's been looking for. In the past, Henry's father went missing and all the young boy wants is to be reunited with him again. However, in order for Drill to fulfill his wish, Henry has to play a game, which may cause more harm than good to his family.
Meanwhile, another teaser for the upcoming episode showed Henry's mom Claire Bennigan (Lily Rabe) trying to save him from Drill. However, as the teaser's voiceover suggests, the problems caused by Drill will not be over anytime soon: "An enemy no one can see. A threat no one saw coming."
"The Whispers" also stars Milo Ventimiglia as John Doe, Barry Sloane as Wes Lawrence, Kyle Harrison Breitkopf as Henry, Kylie Rogers as Minx and more.
"The Whispers" Episode 4 of Season 1 titled "Meltdown" is set to air on ABC on Monday at 10 p.m. ET.
