We all know who Patrick Schwarzenegger is! He's former Governor of California and Terminator star, Arnold Schwarzenegger's son. And, how could we forget about his much publicized relationship (and breakup) with Miley Cyrus? Patrick has been most well-known for things that have nothing to do with his acting talents, but not this time. He is actually starring a new movie with Bella Thorne. Talk about major. Patrick, 21, and Bella, 17, are doing the upcoming film Midnight Sun, a story of two young (and good looking) lovers spending a summer adventure of a lifetime. Bella will play Katie, a 17-yeard-old sheltered young woman who suffers from a rare disease that makes sunlight exposure fatal to her health. Charlie will be her love interest, played by the younger Schwarzenegger.
The movie is based on a 2006 Japanese movie and there is no information on the possible release date as of yet. What we know for now is that filming will begin by September. If ever, this will be Patrick's first ever major role after his small role stints in the movies Grown Ups 2 and Stuck In Love.
But this is not the first time the two will be seen together. Just in April this year - yes, back when Miley and Patrick were still together - the two were spotted having dinner at Mud Hen restaurant in Los Angeles, dailymail.uk reported on this. Bella even posted on Instagram a photo of both of them during the dinner - looking a bit close to each other - but was quick to deny even before the rumors could begin. In that same month, Patrick and Miley called it quits. Hmmm.
Nevertheless, we are excited for Patrick making a name for himself in the movie biz. We will wait for that movie to come out!
