Music producer and rapper Sean 'Diddy' Combs was arrested at a UCLA football summer workout after getting into a physical altercation with his son's strength and conditioning coach Sal Alosi.
According to Tmz, the drama began during a workout session yesterday because coach Sal Alosi was "riding Justin badly" and told him not to come back until the end of the summer. His son, Justin Combs, plays as a defensive back at UCLA.
Things didn't go well when Diddy decided to go to the campus and aiming to speak with Alosi - believing he has an issue with Justin.
Based on Tmz news source, the staff told Diddy to leave, but he went to Alosi's office. Alosi told him to get out and threatened him to call security if he didn't leave. Diddy replied, "Fine, I'll call the police", Alosi snapped going after Diddy with his hands. But Diddy grabbed the kettlebell and held it up in a defensive position, but Diddy insists that he don't have intent to injure the coach.
The source added that Alosi calls Diddy as a "helicopter dad" for hovering over practices. Alosi was a NY Jets coach who was suspended by the NFL in 2010 after tripping a Miami Dolphins player who was covering a punt.
Fox news reported that Diddy was already released from Los Angeles jail after posting bail late Monday. It was said that Combs' bail was $160,000, but sheriff's officials reached by phone said he posted $50,000. The reason discrepancy was not yet clear.
The police campus said that there were no seriously injured after investigating the incident.
It was the latest in a series of allegations against Diddy. In the year 1999, he was also acquitted of bribery and weapons-related charges. The charges were reduced as Combs apologized, at that time, Combs was ordered to attend an anger management class.
