When "Batman: Arkham Knight" was launched yesterday, it did not go smoothly as expected after reports of technical glitches have surfaced. Among these issues are framerate loss and the video game's low-res textures, which players said affected the game's performance, PC Gamer reported on Wednesday.
The PC Gamer report claims that a user who played "Batman: Arkham Knight" has encountered several issues when the game was played for several hours. Even though the game was played using the default settings, it was found out that the game was locked in 30 frames per second. The frame rate, according to the report, has caused a texture streaming issue.
Aside from the frame rate issue, VG247 reported that some players actually experienced game crashes and freezes after the game files have been decrypted. It added that the "Batman: Arkham Knight" video game frame rate was reportedly dropped to 10 frame per seconds. It also pointed out that the Nvidia cards-GTX 980 and GTX 970 have been affected by the frame rate glitch in the video game.
An IGN report also revealed that players have encountered frequent stuttering and audio glitches while exploring the "Batman: Arkham Knight" open-world, which resulted in complaints from Steam users. In response, Rocksteady has issued a statement saying that it is aware of the reported technical problems being encountered by the gamers.
"We're aware that some users are reporting performance issues with the PC version of 'Batman: Arkham Knight.' This is something that Rocksteady takes very seriously. We are working closely with our external PC development partner to make sure these issues get resolved as quickly as possible. We'll update this thread when we've got more info to share," wrote Rocksteady as quoted in the same website.
