The third installment of the movie franchise "Divergent" has already started filming as seen in the photos that have surfaced online. The cast of the movie "Divergent: Allegiant Part 1" can be seen in the photos featured in E Online. In the photo, the film's main actress Shailene Woodley is seen in the Atlanta set with co-stars Ansel Elgort, Zoë Kravitz,Keiynan Lonsdale and Octavia Spencer.
According to recent reports, the stars and crew of the movie seem enthusiastic as they shared the events during the first day of their shoot in their respective social media accounts. In a Twitter post, Bill Collage, one of the movie's screenwriters, tweeted: "First shot of #Allegiant went super this morning. We're up and running! @shailenewoodley #TheoJames".
Keiylan Lonsdale, who plays the character of Uriah, has also been reported to be active in social media and was posting photos from the set. Ansel Elgort, who plays Caleb, also shared a photo of their set and tweeted, "Back on set, can you guess what movie? (Dystopian future)".
According to Venture Capital Post, there are also new additions to the cast of the anticipated sequel of the movie. German actress Nadia Hilker was cast to play the role of Nita while Jeff Daniels will play the role of the leader of Bureau of Genetic Welfare David, and Bill Skarsgard is set to play the character of Matther.
The movie is being directed by Robert Schwentke. The third movie picks up from the events after the 2014 movie, "Divergent Series: Insurgent." Shailene Woodley will reprise her role as Tris and Theo James will be coming back as Four. Other stars will also be coming back like Ray Stevenson as Marcus, Mekhi Phifer as Max, and Maggie Q as Tori.
"Divergent: Allegiant Part 1" is the third installment of the "Divergent" movie franchise and is expected to be released in theaters on March 18, 2016.
