AMC finally revealed its upcoming season's poster in the recently concluded Comic-Con in San Diego, IGN reported. The poster was seen all around in the convention, imposing its dominance on the hierarchy on its nemesis. The poster also shows what to expect on the next AMC offering. Old buddies Rick and Morgan were centered on the poster as suggesting that the two former friends are about to meet and it only suggests that the reunion of the two might be a confrontation, who knows.
Rick's group and other residents of Alexandria were also in the background, as if like the two groups are about to be in each other's neck. Another significant fact on the poster is father Gabriel who traveled with them to the safe zone with Rick's group is now with the Alexandria group.
Online movie review Comingsoon also reported on the news and confirmed that the upcoming zombie flick will premiere on October with 16 episodes. The poster also shows the returning casts aside from Rick, Morgan, and Gabriel. The characters on the poster are Abraham, Eugene, Tara, Rosita, Carl, Daryl, Deanna, Aaron, Jesse, and Spencer.
"The Walking Dead" will also offer a spinoff series called "Fear the Walking Dead" which will be aired until the original series will hit the stands on October. According to RealtyToday, the spinoff series will showcase a different plot and settings. While the original series focuses on the trees and forest of the south, the spinoff will be entirely urban, meaning a break from trees and forests. The spinoff will also show what happened when Rick was in coma. It will give the viewers a story of what really transpired when the virus was still spreading.
Kim Dickens from Gone Girl and Sons of Anarchy, Cliff Curtis from Missing and Gang Related, Frank Dillane from Harry Potter and Half Blood Prince and Alicia Debham Carey from Into the Storm will headline the spinoff.
