"Fifty Shades Darker" will definitely happen, but until now it's still unclear who will complete the cast and production staff for the "Fifty Shades of Grey" sequel. According to Venture Capital Post, "Fifty Shades of Grey" still has not found its director, so the filming will not happen anytime soon. One reason why it has been difficult to find someone to direct the film is because of book author E.L. James.
Multiple sources have noted how difficult it is for people to work with James because she wants creative control over the entire film. Sam Taylor-Johnson previously confirmed that she will not direct the sequel and cited this as one of her reasons.
Meanwhile, all of these issues have not stopped fans from feeling excited as to what will happen to Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) and Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson) in the sequel.
It was confirmed that "Fifty Shades Darker" will focus more on the story of the characters and will also introduce new ones. There are rumors that supermodel Cara Delevingne has already been tapped to play the role of Leila Williams or Christian's former submissive.
According to Inquisitr, Delevingne could be a good choice for the role because she's gorgeous and talented. The model/actress recently starred in John Green's book adaptation of "Paper Towns" for the big screen alongside Nat Wolff. If Delevingne were to play the role of Leila, it seems that the she should be ready to show off her sultry side. She will also be expected to show off some skin.
In other news, there are rumors that Dornan will have a full-frontal scene in "Fifty Shades Darker." Although this may sound highly unlikely, there are reports that a complete version of the film, without edits, will eventually be made available in DVDs.
"Fifty Shades Darker" is slated for release in theaters in the United States this coming Feb. 10, 2017.
