Iron Maiden's bassist Steve Harris has recently listed his Essex Home which includes the popular addition pub, Rightmove reported. His 11-bedroom mansion is listed at 4.95 million pounds in Sheering, Essex. The property was reportedly built in 1427 and has been the rock icon's property since 1980. The property flaunts a tennis court, indoor pool with gym area, and a full-sized football pitch, which shows the legendary bassist's love for the sport. The property's biggest feature is the fully-equipped pub on the ground floor, coined the Horse and Cart. The popular bar includes ales on tap, bar stools, and a pool table.
The 11,000-square-foot property sits on a 9-acre land and is accessible through a private gated entrance through a sweeping gravel driveway. Inside the property, ornamental decorations are strategically placed to complement the exposed beans and open fireplaces.
DailyMail also said that Harris has taken a total of 2 million pounds on the property as it was originally priced at around 7 million pounds. The property sits 11 bedrooms and an ornate swimming pool. It also houses a recording studio, an arcade arena, and a tennis court.
The property is graded at Grade II property which means that the property belongs to people who are in the upper echelon.
Iron Maiden is a legendary heavy metal band which was founded by Steve Harris on Christmas day in 1975. The band quickly achieved its first success in the early 1980s after a couple of lineup changes. What catapulted the band on the radar were their 1982 and 1983 albums The Number of the Beast and Piece of Mind, respectively.
The band is popular for its satanic references due to their hit The Number of the Beast. The artwork and the title track has led Christian groups in the US to brand them as Satanists, in which the band members have strongly denied.
